La Traversée du Lac Tremblant | Ultraswim Canada 2020 is postponed
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that in respect of the Quebec Government measure requesting the cancellation of sporting events by August 31 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Traversée du Lac Tremblant | Ultraswim Canada originally scheduled from August 14 to 16, 2020 is postponed to the weekend of August 13 to 15, 2021. All registered participants have received an email with further details. We thank you for your amazing support towards our event, and we look forward to see you in 2021.

Four distances, 1,000 swimmers, 170 kayakers, and one magnificent lake. The two day event will host three distances: 1km, 3km, 5km and the crown jewel of the weekend, the 12km crossing of Lac Tremblant. It is challenging and exhilarating – it is you and mother nature at the edge of almost impossible… all rolled into one. It’s an epic adventure. It’s the swim of a lifetime. WIN YOUR 2021 GLOBAL SWIM SERIES NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRY : LA TRAVERSÉE DU LAC TREMBLANT ULTRASWIM CANADA’S 12 KM
Global Swim Series will offer an entry to la Traversée du Lac Tremblant UltraSwim Canada 2021 (12 km) within the participants of the 5th virtual race of the series. To participate, simply register to the distance of your choice in your area and complete your swim between August 1st and 15. You will accumulate points for the Global Swim Series’ world ranking, in addition to be eligible to the prize. This is an excellent occasion to swim the distance for which you were registered (or were thinking about registering…!) for the 2020 edition which would have took place from August 14 to 16. Take up your own challenge while respecting social distancing regulations in effect in your area, and register using LACTREMBLANT code.
*the winner will need to go through the vetting process for the 12 km distance.
Register for the 1km Desjardins, the 3km or the 5km
An excellent initiation to open water events, the 1km Desjardins race provides a great first experience for amateur swimmers and is the perfect length for intermediate or advanced swimmers to set a personal best on race day.
The 3km is a challenging distance for advanced swimmers while the 5 km will have you experience great thrills!
To participate in the 12 km of La Traversée du Lac Tremblant / Ultraswim Canada, you must complete a registration request. Due to the physical challenge of this distance, our team evaluates every swimmers request for registration. If your request is accepted, you will receive a registration link to the event.
