The Desjardins 1 km meet is the perfect distance for swimmers to try open-water competition for the first time, while offering intermediate and advanced swimmers the opportunity to establish personal record.
This distance is also open to young people 11 years of age and older.

NEW DISTANCE
You have already done the 1 km swim; now, are you looking for a new challenge? Whether you are an amateur or an experienced swimmer, the 2 km is your new feat for this summer.
This distance is also open to young people 12 years of age and older.
The secure environment of the Traversée du Lac Tremblant allows you to excel in ideal conditions for open water swimming.
The 3 km meet presents a stimulating challenge for intermediate and advanced swimmers, while offering higher calibre swimmers the opportunity to test their skills.
This distance is also open to young people 14 years of age and older.
The 5 km distance is the natural progression between its 3 km and 10 km meets. This open-water event offers 3 km swimmers the opportunity to take their sport to the next level, before considering longer distances. It’s perfect for pushing yourself beyond, in a safe setting ‒ and living a thrilling experience too!
The time allotted to cover the distance is 3 hours. A refueling station will be available at kilometer 2.5.
This distance is also open to young people 14 years of age and older.
NEW DISTANCE
As an experienced swimmer looking for a challenge, the 10 km allows you to push your limits while enjoying an ideal environment, both majestic and safe.
To do the 10 km, it is a prerequisite to have already an event of at least 5 km. The distance is in 2 loops of 5 km. The departure is from the Beach and Tennis Club and refueling station is planned at every 2.5 kilometers. The time allow to cover the distance is 5 hours. You may choose to swim with or without a wetsuit.
The event is supervised by a team of 60 marine responders, ensuring a very safe swim.
This distance is also open to young people 14 years of age and older.
To participate in the 10 km of the Traversée du Lac Tremblant, you must fill out a registration form. Due to the demanding nature of this event, our team evaluates each registration request. If your application is accepted, you will receive a registration link for the event.
NEW DISTANCE
Both demanding and exhilarating, the 15 km ULTRASWM is the perfect distance for seasoned swimmers looking for the ultimate experience. The clear waters of Lac Tremblant offer the ideal and safe environment for you to embark on a major challenge, immersed in the nature of the Laurentians.
To participate in the 15 km, you must have already swum an event of at least 8 km. The distance is in 3 loops of 5 km. The departure is from the Beach and Tennis Club and refueling station is planned at every 2.5 kilometers. The time allotted to cover the distance is 6 hours. You may choose to swim with or without a wetsuit.
The event is supervised by a team of 60 marine responders, ensuring a very safe swim.

NEW DISTANCE
Would you like to experience the ultimate distance of the Traversée du Lac Tremblant, while sharing this feat with one or more teammate(s)? You can do it! The clear waters of Lac Tremblant, immersed in the Laurentian landscape, offer the ideal and safe environment to embark on this major challenge.
The TEAM 15 km is for groups of two or three swimmers. The distance is in 3 loops of 5 km. If there are three swimmers, each will swim 5 km. The relay will be on the beach of Parc Plage at kilometer 5 and kilometer 10. If there are two swimmers, one will swim 5 km and the other 2 x 5 km (the first and last loop). All swimmers who register for the 15 km team must be able to swim 5 km in less than 2 ¼ hours. A refueling station will be available at every 2.5 kilometers.
The time allotted to cover the entire distance by all swimmers together is 6 hours and 45 minutes (we are obliged to remove swimmers from the water after this time). Swimmers can choose to wear a wetsuit or not. The event is supervised by a team of 60 marine responders, making it a very safe event.
