Traversée du Lac Tremblant’s 5 km and 12 km individual distances have been selected as North American Championship for the Global Swim Series. The Global Swim Series now has over 100,000 swimmers, in 200 races, in more than 35 countries.

The 5 km distance is the natural progression between its 3 km and 12 km meets. This open-water event offers 3 km swimmers the opportunity to take their sport to the next level, before considering longer distances.

Take part in the 12 km as a relay in a two-person team and cover this mythical and demanding distance. This is the opportunity to realize your dream, the complete crossing of Lac Tremblant! Lac Tremblant is 12 km long and swimmers are required to cover the entire distance together. Athletes will be brought to the starting point at the north end of the lake, a secluded and beautifully scenic spot. Throughout their challenge, participants will be immersed in the impressive natural beauty of the Laurentians. During the event, the two swimmers will take turns as swimmer and kayaker to ensure the safety of each other. In addition, a team responsible for the safety of all participants will be in place.
To participate in the 12 km Traversée du Lac Tremblant, you must complete a registration request form. Due to the demanding nature of this event, our team evaluates each entry request. If your application is accepted, you will receive an event registration link.

The individual 12 km is the ultimate experience, a complete immersion. Both demanding and exhilarating, this distance presents swimmers with a major challenge. Lac Tremblant is 12 km long and swimmers are required to cover the entire distance. Athletes will be brought by boat to the starting point at the north end of the lake, a secluded and beautifully scenic spot. Throughout their challenge, the partipants will be immersed in the impressive natural beauty of the Laurentians. During the event, each swimmer will be accompanied by a kayaker to ensure their safety. In addition, a team responsible for the safety of all participants will be in place.
