August 14 to 16, 2020
Athletes between the ages of 11 and 17 participating in the 2019 Traversée du Lac Tremblant 1km or 3km races will receive a refund of their registration fee by going to a participating Laurentian Caisse Desjardins. The refund will be made in the athlete’s account upon presentation of his registration receipt.

What types of payments are accepted?
All payments are made online by credit card.
Until what date can you register?
Registration closes on July 15, 2020. However, if we have reached the maximum number of participants per event, registration will close early for the event in question.
Where is the Village de la Traversée?
On the grounds of St-Bernard Chapel at the corner of the chapel road and the chemin des voyageurs
The village is located at the south base of Tremblant Resort.
Where can we park?
In the Tremblant Resort’s available parking lots, those nearby (P1, P2) and the P3 parking with shuttle service that takes you directly to the Village of La Traversée Pinacle Pure Tremblant. Paid parking is also located at P1 and in the Westin’s indoor parking lot.

Do I need an escort?
For the 12km, each swimmer must be accompanied by a kayaker. We can provide a kayaker for a fee. Participants must make the request when registering.
For other distances (1km, 3km, 5km), no attendant is required.

When and where can athletes pick up their race kit?
Athletes can pick up their race kit from the crossing village when checking in.
For the 1km Desjardins, the 3km and the 5km, registration must be done Friday evening August 14; registration for 12km takes place on Saturday August 15.
What is the water temperature at this time of year?
The average water temperature in August is between 19°C and 24°C.
Is there special accommodation for event participants?

Can I get a refund?
No refunds will be granted.
Do I need to wear a wetsuit?
Wetsuits are permitted, but not mandatory. However, helmets are mandatory.
Where is the 12km start? How do we get there?
The 12km starts at Baie des ours. The organization ensures transport of all participants, swimmers and kayakers, to the 12km.
Will there be a presentation to the athletes?
There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting Friday night at 7:30 p.m for the 1km Desjardins, the 3km and the 5km athletes and Saturday at 4 p.m for the 12km.
Do the starts go by distance, age group or both?
Do the men and women start separately?
The starts for all events are mixed.
Will there be any food available after the event?
Swimmers and kayakers will enjoy a finish line buffet and there will be volunteer lunch at 11 a.m on Saturday and Sunday.
Is there a maximum time for the different courses?

Will there be a medal ceremony?
The Medal Ceremony will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m for 1km Desjardins, 3km and 5km, and Sunday for 12km at 1:15 p.m.
